By downloading or using Tracer Tales you agree to these terms. Please read them — they are written in plain English.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Simon Wawrzyniak trading as Tracer Tales ("Tracer Tales", "we", "us", "our"), an Australian sole trader based in Melbourne, Victoria.
By downloading, installing, or using the Tracer Tales app or this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), and that you accept these Terms on behalf of yourself and any child in your care who uses the app.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the Tracer Tales app for personal, non-commercial, family use on Apple devices you own or control.

All story content, illustrations, narration audio, Victorian Modern Cursive tracing paths, and the Tracer Tales name and branding remain the exclusive property of Tracer Tales. All rights reserved.
The first two stories (currently "A Dog Named Pip" and "Too Many Frogs") are permanently free to access. No account or payment is required to use the free tier.
Prices are in Australian dollars and may vary by region or as adjusted by Apple. App Store pricing is the authoritative source.
The 7-day free trial is available on the annual plan only, for users who have not previously subscribed to Tracer Tales Premium. At the end of the trial period, your subscription begins automatically unless cancelled before midnight of the last day of the trial.
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through your Apple ID. Payment is charged at the start of each billing period (or, for annual plans with a trial, immediately after the trial ends). Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
We do not directly process or store payment information.
You can cancel your subscription at any time via:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to Premium content until that date. We do not offer pro-rata refunds for unused time except where required by law.
All refund requests for App Store purchases must be made through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple's refund policy applies. Under Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a refund if the app fails to meet consumer guarantees.
You agree to use Tracer Tales only for its intended purpose — helping children practise Victorian Modern Cursive handwriting by reading and tracing words in stories. You must not attempt to exploit, abuse, or interfere with the app, its content delivery, or its backend services.
We aim to keep the app available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, modify, or remove features, stories, or content over time. We will endeavour to notify you of material changes through the app or this website.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, except those that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. We make no guarantee that the app will meet your specific educational requirements or that progress made in the app will directly correlate with classroom performance.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tracer Tales and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or device damage. Our total liability to you will not exceed the amount you paid for your current subscription period.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
Tracer Tales is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms and bears no responsibility for the app or any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms with respect to your licence to use the app.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the app. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
